Buying a firearm from another licensed dealer? Wolf Tactical can help complete your transfer. Follow the steps below to coordinate shipping, prepare your documents, and make pickup easier.

How Your Transfer Works

1. Send us the dealer’s information.
   After purchasing your firearm, provide the selling dealer’s email address so we can send a copy of our Federal Firearms License (FFL). If the dealer emailed you an FFL request, forward the original email—including your name and order number—rather than a screenshot.
2. Confirm shipping with the seller.
   Make sure the dealer has received payment, our FFL, and everything needed to ship your order. Ask the seller to include your full name, phone number, and order information with the shipment.
3. Wait for our notification.
   Once your firearm arrives and we finish processing it, we’ll contact you. A carrier’s delivery confirmation does not mean your firearm is ready for pickup.
4. Complete your transfer in store.
   The actual purchaser must appear in person, present the required documents, and complete ATF Form 4473. We’ll review the paperwork and submit the required background check.
5. Pick up your firearm.
   Your firearm may be released once the background check is approved, any applicable waiting period is satisfied, or a valid exemption is documented, and transfer fees are paid.

What to Bring

• Valid government-issued photo ID showing your name, date of birth, and current residential address.
• Supplemental government-issued proof of address if your photo ID does not show your current residence. Examples may include vehicle registration, voter registration, or a government-issued tax document.
• A dated, paid receipt or other documentation of your purchase.
• Your valid Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License, if applicable.
• Any additional residency or immigration documents required for your transfer.

Utility bills, personal mail, and commercial correspondence do not replace the required government-issued identification or supplemental documents.

Background Checks & Waiting Periods

A background check is required even if you hold a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License. A qualifying license may exempt you from the applicable waiting period; it does not waive the background check.

Background checks and waiting periods are separate requirements. Processing times vary, and a pending result may delay pickup. Wolf Tactical will release your firearm only after approval and completion of all applicable requirements.

Residency & Special Circumstances

Handguns and receivers
Florida residency is generally required for transfers through a Florida dealer. Contact us if you have questions about documenting your residency.

Out-of-state customers
Rifle and shotgun transfers may be possible when the transaction meets applicable federal law and the laws of both states. Confirm eligibility with us before arranging shipment.

Active-duty military
Contact us before your visit to confirm the required identification, permanent-duty-station orders, and supporting residency documents.

Non-U.S. citizens
Additional documentation may be required depending on your immigration status. Contact us before arranging your transfer so we can review what you need to bring.

Avoid Pickup Delays

Before visiting, confirm that:

• Your ID is valid and your address documentation is current.
• You have your purchase receipt and any required supporting documents.
• Wolf Tactical has notified you that your firearm has been processed.
• The actual purchaser will appear in person.
• Any applicable waiting period has been satisfied.

If your shipment appears delayed, contact the selling dealer first to confirm shipping status and tracking information.

Payment & Pickup

Cash is preferred. Personal Checks are not accepted. We also accept Zelle, CashAPP and Venmo and most credit cards.

If military deployment, travel, or another commitment will delay your pickup, let us know your expected pickup date.
